Hey there, I'm Alfonso Nqunjana, a multimedia journalist with a mission to capture the world's memorable moments through the lens of my camera.
I snagged my honours degree in Journalism and Media studies from the University of the Witwatersrand. My passion for journalism set roots early on, as I drew inspiration from legends like Themba Hadebe, Kevin Carter, and Lynsey Addario.
My camera lens has seen some serious action, and I'm proud to have been recognized for my work. I was awarded regional honours at the Vodacom journalist of the year competition, for my contribution to News24’s Phala Phala investigation.
