Gallery | Family in Gauteng is mourning the death of their four minor children in an accident that claimed the lives of 12 primary school pupils.

The pupils from Kokosi-Wedela were heading to Rocklands Primary School and Blyvooruitzicht Laerskool in Carletonville.

The minibus was carrying 20 pupils. Eight were injured, with seven of them having since been discharged from hospital.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
